How to make a two color paracord bracelet

Making a two color paracord bracelet is not as hard as you may think.

This survival bracelet will have a inner and outer color when made properly, Here is an example of a two color paracord bracelet with the buckle.

You may be wondering how this is done?  The secret is that instead of one continuous length of cord you have to join two pieces of cord together If you are using 10 feet of paracord you will have to melt together two 5 foot pieces. In this bracelet I used red and neon lemon paracord. Here is the process that I use to melt two pieces of paracord together.

Use caurtion any time you heat or melt paracord It will stick to your skin and burn you. Paracord can remain hot for a while do not touch it! Let it cool first!

Take two lengths of paracord and re cut the ends clean of any  strands poping out.

Hold one in each hand pinch it so the strands do not pop out.

Warm both ends over a heat source. I use a candle or a lighter with a small flame as to not char the cord colors

Take your time and do this slowly to let melt with out burning. When both ends are molten I push them together.

I then flatten the melt as close to the size of the cord as to not make a big ball or lump in the two cords.

This may take some practice if you need to ssimply cut ends and retry.

Keep in mind that this seem will be hidden on the two middle strands of the bracelet near the bottom by the buckle.

Now that you have your cord ready you can make your two color survival bracelet.

The color cord that you cross over first will be the center color.
