How to measure your wrist to make a paracord bracelet

It is very inportant that you know the size of your wrist for making your survival bracelet.

This can be done in several ways. I have show you a method by taking a piece of paracord 550 and wrapping it around your wrist. Mark the spot where it meets and get a measurement.

My wrist conversion to inches is 7 and 3/4

Pro Tip:  If you make your bracelet the same size as your wrist it will not fit!

You need to add in some slack to allow for comfort rule of thumb is 3/4 inch

Here is the math

Wrist measurement  7 3/4

Add in the slack               3/4

Total                                 8 1/2

This total is the length that I will use to make my paracord bracelet.
